The cGMP Advanced Cell and Biologic Product Manufacturing Facility has over 25 years of experience in:
isolation and characterization of pancreatic islet cells;
islet cell encapsulation;
culture and expansion of immunomodulatory and helper cell populations that include natural Regulatory T cells (Treg) and Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSC) from human adipose, bone marrow and cord tissue;
culture and expansion of cellular-based vaccines and endothelial cells;
purification and enrichment for Natural Killer (NK) cells, neural cell populations (Schwann cells), non-selected and selected Bone Marrow (BM) cell populations, Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSC), peripheral blood cell populations;
development, maintenance and characterization of Master Cell Bank (MCBs) and Working Cell Banks (WCBs).
Utilizing novel cGMP-compliant technologies, the Facility has established expertise in reproducible and validated methods for the isolation, purification and characterization and assessment of EV (extracellular vesicles) and Exosome products.
In addition to clinical cGMP-compliant clinical manufacture, we offer the following cell types and tissues for research distribution:
pancreatic islet cells & acinar tissue, freshly cultured and cryopreserved
frozen and fixed pancreatic tissue biopsies
pancreatic ductal tissue
MSCs from various sources, including bone marrow, placenta, umbilical cord, cord blood, and adipose tissue
immunomodulatory & helper cell populations
endothelial cells
cellular-based vaccines
bone Marrow cells from vertebral body marrow and iliac crest aspirate
purified exosomes and microvesicle products
